SPATIALAPI.COM / SITE INFORMATION
Editorial Policy
How SpatialAPI.com uses official references, separates examples from product claims, describes limitations, and handles editorial corrections.
Write for decisions people can test
Spatial Field Notes prioritize specific concepts and practical workflows over product hype. Examples illustrate a design choice; they are not evidence of a hosted endpoint, tested service-level guarantee, partnership, or customer deployment.
The guides distinguish geometry, tracking, asset delivery, and semantic predictions. A useful explanation should make those boundaries clearer and help a reader design a small acceptance test.
Use relevant primary references
Each field note includes one editorial link to a relevant official source. The resource collection provides a broader reading directory. Sources may include standards bodies and the documentation of the platform or open-source project being discussed.
A source supports the associated technical explanation. Suggested architectures, examples, and test workflows are editorial recommendations and should be adapted to the reader's actual project. A reference to a platform does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
Describe limits specifically
Compatibility, supported environments, and optional features depend on the implementation being used. Readers should consult the relevant documentation and test their intended environment before publishing compatibility claims.
The site does not publish invented benchmark results, search-volume estimates, customer testimonials, or performance guarantees. A local demonstration is described according to what it actually does.
Corrections and publication information
Each article carries a visible publication date that is also used in its listing, feed, and structured metadata. A substantive revision should receive an actual modification date when that revision is made; dates should not be advanced simply to imply freshness.
Send a proposed correction to [email protected]. Include the article, the statement in question, and the most relevant official reference. Do not send private credentials or sensitive spatial recordings.
Editorial independence
SpatialAPI.com is an independent learning site. Third-party names identify relevant technical references and are not presented as partners, clients, or sponsors. No ratings, certifications, or author credentials are claimed unless they are supported by the visible content.
